What the calculator itself does

The calculators run entirely in your browser. Purchase price, rent, loan and other figures you enter are never sent to our servers; there is no account, login or saved-property database. When you use the share button, those figures are encoded into the page URL so the link reproduces your scenario. Anyone with that link, or with access to your browser history or the server logs of a service you share it through, can see the figures in it. Commercial tenant names are deliberately excluded from share URLs.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure page views and which calculator or guide is used, so we know what to improve. GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies. The page location sent to GA4 is the address of the page only (origin and path); the query string that carries your scenario figures is stripped before anything is sent, so Analytics never receives the numbers you enter. Google AdSense and cookies

This site is funded by Google AdSense. Google, and third-party vendors including Google, use cookies (such as the Google DoubleClick cookie) and similar technologies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. Advertisements are always labelled “Advertisement” and are kept separate from calculator inputs and results; advertisers do not influence any rate, formula or figure on this site.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or financial account details to use any calculator. We do not build a profile of you beyond the aggregate, cookie-based measurement described above. If you email us, we hold that email only for as long as needed to answer it.

Third-party links

Pages on this site link to official state and territory revenue office pages and other government sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Changes to this policy

If how this site collects or uses data changes, this page will be updated. Check back periodically if you have concerns.
